    Samyang PRUWELL produces corrugated cardboard boxes to satisfy the total needs of Samyang Foods Co., Ltd and the extra boxes are manufactured and sold by subcontractors. The company has been producing Samyang Foods Co., Ltd’s product items (about 140 kinds of items such as ramen and snack packages) along with ordered items from subcontracting companies (about 20 kinds of box items for agricultural products).

    Packaging plays a key role in creating added value for a product and promoting its sale beyond preserving product quality with packaging.

    Located in the vast land of 177 Usan-ro, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do, the company has constantly been enhancing technology innovation and producing approximately 1.7 million corrugated cardboard boxes a month.

    Samyang Flour Mills Corp is supplying wheat flour through trade, wholesale and retail. It produces Grade 1 wheat flour, which is the main ingredient of ramen by processing raw wheat with cutting-edge facilities.

    Asia’s Largest Farm of 60 Million ㎡ in the Daegwallyeong area of Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, marked a new era in the Korean livestock industry with its launch. Based on a pioneering spirit to activate Mother Nature in the food industry, Samyang Farm has been raising 600 beef cattle and dairy cattle in a vast 60 million ㎡ Farm at an altitude of 850m to 1,140m.
    The total area of Daegwallyeong Samyang Farm is 7.5 times the size of Yeouido in Seoul and one five-thousandth of the total area of Korea.

    Samyang Farm contains grazing land for sheep and cattle, an ostrich farm, a shelter of “Lover's Concerto(연애소설, a famous Korean movie)” wood, and five wood trails where one can enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as wind generators everywhere. Samyang Farm is well-known as the best place to go in Korea and many people have visited to see the vast nature and exotic scenery.  

    In addition, it is well-known as the filming location for TV dramas, movies and commercials, leading to great interest from overseas. Also, the company is under its sixth industrialization, which is composed of manufacturing tourism and education based on the livestock industry
  • SAMYANG BAKER TANK TERMINAL Inc.

    In order to ensure the stable supply of oil used in the frying process of ramen production, the company’s role is to store and preserve food oils such as palm oil imported from foreign countries to the carrying vessel and carry them to the production site whenever necessary.

    Located on Wolmi Island in Incheon, Samyang Baker Tank Terminal Inc. unloads and stores imported food oils to safely and steadily maintain its supply to Korea.
    Refined imported food oil plays a key role in increasing the nutrition value of ramen; Samyang Ramen uses good quality refined palm oil to ensure good quality of the product.

    It means providing safe foods through optimal service, equipped with technology and human resources. In 2009, Samyang Foods Co., Ltd signed an MOU with the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled to establish a standard business site as a subsidiary, and in Oct. 2010, it founded corporation.

    Delicious sharing, expanding dreams Samyang Igeon Scholarship Foundation

    Igeon is the pen name of the founder of Samyang Foods Co., Ltd and the pioneer of Samyang Ranch, the late Honorary President Chun Joong-yoon, and refers to “realizing what one wanted.”

    As the first CEO of Samyang Foods Co., Ltd, Chun established the Samyang Igeon Scholarship Foundation in July 1970, aiming to carry out the belief that “corporate profit should be returned to society.”

    The Samyang Igeon Scholarship Foundation has performed various business projects to spread the food culture such as scholarships to foster support the development of human resources along with Samyang Foods Co., Ltd’s ‘Delicious haring contribution’, food culture lessons for children in local children centers, a cooking scholarship student contest, and support for the serial publication of the web comic, “The Essence of Ramen,” with a background on Samyang Ranch. Until now, more than 12,600 students have been selected for scholarships and are supported in their research and studies.

    Making tasty culture Samyang Wondong Cultural Foundation

    Samyang Wondong Culture Foundation was
    constituted in honor of deceased honorary president Jeon Jung-yoon of Samyang Food who invented the first ramen to feed the nation starving in 1960s and his spouse Lee Gye-soon who set up the foundation.
